Since John and I had to be near work in December for Y2K we had a Christmas Eve party at our house. Many of our good friends came over including Sarah and her sister Ember, Patrick and Nicole. Nicole also brought a friend from work and Chris and Diane also stopped by which was a welcome surprise. We had a nice dinner and dessert and opened presents. After dinner we watched videos and played games.

On Christmas day we went up to work and had lunch with Nicole and then drove up to John's parent's for Christmas dinner. We had a beautiful dinner and opened presents. I received a really great necklace and fantastic books on poetry! We headed out early the next day to avoid the traffic and get home in time to do some laundry.
